drying dmt

Its dry when there's not any naphtha left in it.

I would recommend looking at it, touching it, and/or smelling it to make that decision.

It will speed up the process if you put a fan blowing lightly over it. Key word is lightly, don't wanna blow yer deamsters away.
 
also grind it into a powder using a spoon or something, because increased surface area will speed up drying. avoid sunlight or excessive heat, but on top of a tv is ok.
 
Definitely, in my experience a fan can make the difference between very slow drying (as in it seems not to dry at all) and totally drying overnight.
If a fan blows too hard you can just set the DMT further away.

If you don't have a scale then start with a pile about the size of your pinky nail. I would recommend you get a cheap scale that is accurate to at least .01g. Shouldn't be that expensive. You can even find some mg scales online that are pretty cheap and work well for DMT. Not as well for more potent psychs like 2c-e though.
 
eBay has 0.01g scales going for around $10-$15 last time i checked.

When you can use your razor blade to scrape up the DMT and it all scratches off in a solid, crystal/powder like manor then it's nice and dry and ready to go
 
Invest in a scale, buying one according to your budget is always better than none at all as long as you never assume a greater accuracy than is real.
Remember that supercheap 0.001 g scales may have another digit (one more than 0.01 g obviously) but it's disputable how much purpose it actually has. Thinking you get an actually accurate read when it's off can be more dangerous than not having the digit at all and not using it that way.
