drugs in airports post 9/11

In some places they'll just make you take a drink from whatever liquid you're taking on the plane to make sure it's not nitric acid or liquid plutonium. Of course, they probably won't make you drink the contents of a shampoo bottle - don't hold me to this, seeing as how American airport security is surpassed in intelligence by their own drug dogs. And of course if they open it up and sniff it to see if Osama's hiding in there, you're in trouble.
Anyone thought of getting some Guafenisin-only cough syrup, dumping your hopefully extractable drugs in there, and doing the whole A/B extraction thing when you get to wherever it is you're going? The only downside is you'll probably have to have a somewhat sizable quantity of the drug in the liquid to make this worthwhile, as you may lose some.
 
I've flown quite a bit Internationaly & domesticaly since 9/11 & domestically i've carried stuff on me, down my pants with no problems.
I always carry an opened bottle of water & have never been questioned about it, but I get my carry-on checked most of the time.
I would never carry anything on an International flight though. I've never had my bags searched by customs but still it's not worth the risk IMO.
