Drugs I want to try...

Here is a lits of the drugs that I want to try in the future, many requiring a specific cultural setting, and at places shamans present:
  • 2C-E
  • Ayahuasca (or smoked DMT)
  • Ibogaina
  • Mescaline
  • PCP
  • Probably some more opiates
  • The Sun Opener (Heimia salicifolia)
  • Wild Dagga (Leonotis leonurus)

...and more to come, as I get around to thinking of them.

I understand the desire to seek out different types of hallucinogens. I can even rationalise the desire to experience different types of disasociatives but why in the world would you want to try different types of opiates/opioids? For example, listing codeine and 2 types of heroin (brown and white) in the list of substances tried. All 3 are simply delivery vehicles for morphine. Heroin simply delivers morphine 3 times more efficiently due to lipid solubility. It has a 90 second Half Life, you don't experience heroin, you experience morphine (heroin-MAM-morphine and so on).

The colours of heroin? They mean nothing in terms of how they will make you feel. Pure heroin is snow white. Any colours are related to impurities, either from not being properly filtered during synthesis or else from adulterants/dilutents. I can see wanting to experience different modes of administration but different forms of heroin means nothing.

Codeine? If you are talking about psychoactivity (getting high) than codeine is also morphine. The high is from the morphine that a portion of your codeine has become via O-methylation. It is used clinically because of anti-tussive and anti-diarrheal properties/qualities that differ from morphine. Its analgesia and psychoactivity though are all morphine.

Now, morphine hcl vs morphine sp, they are simply salted with different acids. You can get morphine tartrate, morphine citrate, it won't matter. Your body cannot tell the difference.

I think I can understand a desire to experiment with different opioids. For example, pethidine (meperidine/Demerol) and fentanyl, wanting to see if there is a different depth to their euphoria, their duration, etc. Yes, that does make a lot of sense but not different forms of the exact same substance.

I just want to comment on one thing, shortly, maybe expand my thoughts later... but in terms of the opiates, I have now IV'd Morphine HCl and Diacetylmorphine (both with some very negative drawbacks during copping, preperation, filtering, shooting - no assumptions advised), and I prefer the Morphine HCl straight up. But both are drugs that I feel like I want to abstain from in the future. I cannot rationalize their use anymore after starting ORT with Bupe It seems I have learnt my lesson, but had some undone sentences in that chapter of my life. Period. I want out with opiates, because there is such a wonderful world out the to explore without opiates. And all the while, I hope to be able to say, I've been there, done that, no more unless seriously medically necessary. And I am proud of most my achievements, and some mistakes have been made, but I am so happy to be where I am today, so I'm sure it shouldn't have been any other way,
