Drugs Are Actually Good, Says Columbia Professor

True. Ask any opiate addict/user, their family and friends/loved ones or heroin/opiate addict in recovery how they really feel about opiates/heroin.
Is that really your response to a complaint of ignoring stats? Do you not realize those who run the drug war have been using this exact method as an appeal to emotion in place of stats/facts for decades? That this method is used to attack harm reduction and KILL US?

Natural Selection doesn't impact Brain development everyone: Drugs impact Brain development.

👍

I hope you were able to get some sober time or recovery or look at what METH did to you or talk to people who have been addicted to METH for decases and became addicts after their first time using it, yeah it is a real nootropic and boosts intelligence but that is the METH addiction lying to you...

oh this was all started by you cheerleading a two year old post? one that is an epic trainwreck? esp what you chose to share?

The study finds evidence that 50,000 to 200,000 years ago, natural selection drove changes in six genes involved in brain development. This may have helped to increase the connectivity of neurons, making modern humans smarter as they evolved from their hominin ancestors. But that new intellectual capacity was not without cost: the same genes are implicated in Alzheimer's disease.
