Drug treatment of involuntary PC muscle contraction

Well, poppers relax smooth muscles and can help to facilitate anal sex. (Jesus christ, I'm like a 12 year old, I giggled my ass off as soon as I typed that.) Now that being said, there ARE smooth muscles in the uterus, and smooth muscles are generally not under voluntary control, so it may be plausible that poppers could work. I'm not in a position to say though, because I myself have never used them, and I don't know anyone else who does.

In theory though, if those are the muscles being affected by her condition, poppers MAY work. But, don't go running out to a gay bar to find them just yet. Let me try and find a tranq that will work for her first.

hfrs: Yeah I know, that was the first thing I posted. Warm baths are also good to relax the muscles before dilation or sex is attempted. I was just saying that I would ask our gyno if he was set on trying to get her something to relax. They aren't the first choice for treatment, but they are sometimes prescribed.

Goddamn, I have to get to work. Let me just get back to this thread later before I say something wrong.

It is the PC muscles that need to be relaxed, not the uterine. There was one study with iv diazepam, results weren't very consistent and not always repeatable.

Lets use tact my friends. Particularly if this is a real post (which I venture to guess that it is).

OP let me know if you want anything done with this thread, I hope that it is productive for you. You might get more serious responses in Healthy living or SLR.

Best of luck, things could be much worse ;) .

He made this topic in SLR too. But that was more about the relationship aspect, this is about pills to make the whole process go quicker.

I dated a girl for several years with the same problem. In the beginning of the relationship we would go out a lot and I feel alcohol was a big contributor to a normal sex life. After we moved in together it seemed she would rather have oral sex and shunned penetration, especially if we were sober. If I pressed the issue (no pun intended) she would bury her face in a pillow and eventually I realized she would actually cry from time to time.

After some long discussions she told me several years before she had been raped and since then sober sex was difficult at times. She did not want to go see a Dr and the next couple years were extremely difficult on our relationship. If things were good emotionally between us and I went excruciatingly slow and never pumped hard we could pull it off, but it seemed like the slightest thing (a look, touch, smell, etc) could remind her of the rape. After some time I learned what would and wouldn’t trigger a negative response, but it was a tremendous effort. (the things we will do in the name of love)

By the 5th year things had broken down to the point where she finally went to the Dr and had the same diagnosis. They gave her a box full of dilators, lube, and some meds (pain/hormone therapy as I recall) for another issue (endometriosis). Looking back, what she really needed was some therapy (being serious) first, and then we should have addressed the physical side of things.

Anyway, aside of having a few drinks I really can’t offer a fix but I would try and determine if some trauma did occur in her past. My relationship ended after 6 years as a result of her unwillingness to seek help. Bouts of depression were the last straw for me and by that time sex wasn’t even an issue anymore. I just wanted to see the woman I loved healthy and whole again. I hope things work out for you two.

im sorry, but i couldnt resist, i was fucked out my mind too around 110 +/- 20 mg of oxy
bibenn first time i see you, hi

Tap- I'm sorry to hear that the relationship didn't work out, but really respect and admire how you dealt with a very difficult, tricky, emotional situation. You definitely went above and beyond what most guys would have done and showed tremendous patience and tolerance- I'm sure it wasn't easy at all for you!!!

This is something that is extremely difficult to work through and even more difficult to share with another man. It can be so confusing when you have these memories of a terrible man in your head, and then you try to deal with a man who wasn't even involved, but in a flash can remind you of the worst times of your life. It's hard to talk to a guy about this because they have that natural "protective" urge and want to keep the girl safe- though in this situation it's obviously way too late. Some women fear the anger that many men feel when they share an experience like this, especially when it's the females family member and the couple still has to deal with the family. It's amazing how realistic a flashback or memory can feel- even while you're trying to stay aware of where you are and what is going on in the present.

Anyway, Tap- just wanted to say you're a good man and I hope you find a good woman like you deserve! In this case, the cause was psychiatric. although that does not explain all incidences of this disease- for some women it's a purely physical issue.

Though there's no way to know for sure, I can say that I am almost certain that she's not a rape victim. Just since she's very open and we've even talked about this before. She seems like she had a very happy childhood.

What IS part of the problem is all of the exposure to STD informational pamphlets, aggressive abstinence only sex education and a general sense of fear that kids can get about sex when their information on sex comes from school only and not from any folk wisdom, which she somehow avoided skillfully (I mean, she's 20 and the only reason we even discovered this is because she waited this long to ever even attempt to stick anything in her vagina)

Plus, she's kind of a germaphobe, too. So there's definitely a mental component. Probably not sexual abuse, though.

For those that asked, vaginismus is curable in 95% of all cases, but I'm a guy and guys like to fix things, so you know... I trust the doctors but I just wanna help.

Unlike everyone on THIS god damn website (myself included) she's not into drugs (the fucking nerve) so I think amyl poppers are out, but pharmeceuticals she would trust.

anyways, thanks for the help. and just remember, the next time you are fucking a girl and wishing that she was tighter, you remember my plight and maybe give yourself a high-five.

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) [i believe] loosens up pussies. (if this is what this thread is actually about, i just read the title LOL)

a series of dialators (dildos of progressively larger size) and lots of love and kisses

That sounds actually quite good. Is this condition thought to be psychoclogical or just a physical reaction?

i hate that word pussy, can't we call it something else? who thought of all these stupid words anyway...testicles, penis, hyman, total dorks. anyway, IMHO, i would suggest a few drinks, some hot music, talk, lighting, a line of coke or two, some porn, dim lights, patience and i'd be happy to talk to her if talking to a female first would get her arroused.

so let's see. that's one order for flexoril, three orders for benzos, and one order for goldilocks.

your total comes to $33.56 and a game of magic: the gathering. please drive around to the second window.
