I actually found that in doses of even 10-50mg it weakened and spaced out stimulants.. I however was taking many nootropics at the time, but its odd that it seemed to dampen/space it out.
Most likely because of my current daily oxycodone dose, which in order for a proglumide effect to not be mentally depressive (via potentiation)must be lowered from 2.5mg to 1.25mg.
I believe it may reduce extraneous glutamate via a similar conceptual mechanism to that of GHB, or even affecting a cAMP mechanism, as proglumide potentiated quercetin that I was taking.
And unrelated but modafinil, quercetin, and oxycodone have extensive metabolic interaction, causing much of my daily data to be somewhat skewed.
BUt for opiate tolerance, take 200mg 30mins before your dose and cut your dose in half.
Another random thought is that proglumide may work by blocking epigenetic change in response to opiates etc, having taken quercetin lately a similar effect is prevalent, the euphoria is completely back..
To those who find this post by google via its SEO results, try quercetin 3x daily
