Drug to get high before sleep

Hello,

I'm sure there's a lot of us in this situation : having a work and other responsibilities and enjoying to get high in the end of the day but without altering sleep quality.
So I've played with a variety of drugs to achieve this.

- Alcohol : certainly is fun but it's hard to stop drinking before being drunk and definitively affect sleep quality.
- Weed : when the conditions are't right, like after a stressful day, I just get a bad trip and that's not fun.
- Fentanyl : clearly one of the best for relaxing and getting high but makes it difficult to sleep, and one certainly doesn't want to make it a habit.
- GHB : possibly the best solution. However there is the serotonin rebound. I seem not to experience it with reasonable doses of good GHB, but the one I have now seems to be transforming back into GBL (could it be hat the PH wasn't properly adjusted to 7 ? could it have been avoided by crystalizing the GHB ?) and that makes sleep impossible.
- Benzodiazepines : not specially fun but very effective to relax. I find diazepam quite enjoyable thanks to its myorelaxant nature but it leaves you groggy in the morning. Etizolam seems to be a good alternative due to its short half-life. As for opiates, not a class of drugs to take on a regular basis.

What are fellow bluelighter's opinions and experiences ?

I'm surprised you never mentioned Ketamine - short acting, no hangover the next day and does't effect your sleep that much.

Zaleplon it's my wonder drug for sleep beautiful sleep lucid drift off with dreams you can control but your still in your euphoric save zone, zaleplon is very relaxing its a hypnotic as little as 30mg you can hallucinate I take 40mg before drifting off sometime I'll mix in a benzo or opiate

I find weed is the perfect drug for helping relax on those quiet evenings. It doesnt produce much of a hangover for me, it can be argued that i am more sluggish in the first few of being awake but nothing i would consider bad. It really seems like anything other then that has some kind of effect on my sleep. In college, and when on probation, I basically switched to drinking. It obviously effected me negatively in the mornings and would make those 8am classes a bit difficult. When i was a heroin addict if i used before bed or did too much i would nod out rather then sleep.

I think the best sleep is when you go to bed sober weed just makes falling asleep easier which is a huge part of sleeping.

Part of my evening routine is downing a few shots of whatever is lying around, then sending ~10 mg of finely-ground zaleplon up my nose. No matter what mental state I'm in, that combo gets me feeling nice and mellowed out very quickly. Thought processes cease and mood stabilizes. Nice and legal, though it can cause some hallucinations, as mentioned above. Also, it's a sleeping pill.

temazepam has always worked for me it is a benzo though so it should be used with caution usually takes like 15 mins and im out hasnt affected the way i sleep on a normal basis
but then again i dont take it every day only when its dam near 4 am and i still havent slept

Heroin & cough syrup*

*used at therapeutic doses for its H1-receptor antagonist action, not to get high off DXM or anything

Also, cannabis indica or indica-dominant hybrids marijuana. Esp. good in combination with aforementioned heroin.

Super happy this was posted, as I have chronic insomnia, and even Valium and ambien don't do the trick. I'm going to ask my doc about zaleplon. Thanks!

30mg temazepam and .5mg xanax. I lay down at eight and by ten I am part of the shows I am watching. No euphoria, but it sure gets me to sleep where I would normally only get 1-3 hrs broken up by waking quite a bit.

Your welcome I work nights so I really needed something for sleep tried everything and nothing helps but zaleplon I do like ambien though for sleep as well but prefer zaleplon

I've never tried it up the nose how does it differ from oral

I always smoke weed sometime before I go to bed, I would recommend to smoke some sativa but maybe you are just not that kind of a weed person.
You could also try to only smoke some
