Can the various water soluble drugs be flushed from one's system through excess water consumption? Or would one be tackling the problem in the same way that one does with the fat soluble compounds (i.e. dilution)? If someone with the knowledge wanted to provide a lesson in biochemistry/physiology regarding this matter, that would be cool. As I understand it, drugs like cannabinoids cannot be removed from one's system through flushing, the water in the urine merely dilutes the sample and assuming color/creatinine has been replaced with B vitamins and creatine supplements, the tester would be none the wiser. It is assumed that the B vitamins and creatine will add mass to the sample so specific gravity shouldn't be an issue. Would the idea be the same with water soluble drugs or might the drugs/metabolites be completely removed through flushing. Are fat soluble metabolites ever created from water soluble drugs? Any corrections to or elaborations on the above statements are greatly appreciated.
