Researching for a project that involves involontary use - i.e., a 'spiking" of consumables by a third party by means of a mixture of drugs, in this case, seemingly unusual.

The drugs that were found in the tox report are , in fact , "large quantities" of Benzodiazepenes, Morphines and alcohol.

The assumption, so far, is that a mix of specifically Valium, Heroin and concentrated alcohol is squirted into unsuspecting victims' drinks ( juice) via prepared syringe at public venues.

The question is:
1) what, exactly, is the assumed/expected/hoped for/target effect of such a mix
2) what, exactly, is the actual effect of such a mix
3) are there long term consequences to be expected
4) is this mixture common or unusual on a scale of 1 -10, 10 being the most common
5) as far as amnesia goes, is any memory going to return

any help and info is greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much.

Hi maisjemoon, Welcome to Bluelight :)

You should read the guidelines for each forum before posting. I'm not sure if we can be of much help to you here in Basic Drug Discussion either. We discourage questions that will only lead to endless speculation.

I can only assume that you are asking about this because someone you know overdosed on this combination and claimed they did not take any of these things and that someone must have spiked their juice. I suggest you discuss this with them and their doctor. But if you are asking for some other reason please let me know.

I think it is highly unlikely that anyone is going around spiking people's juice with syringes of valium, heroin and alcohol. I have never heard of such a thing. (I think Divine Moments was probably being sarcastic by saying "Sounds likely").

The effects of taking these drugs would depend on the amounts taken, the route of administration and the person's tolerance. A person could take these drugs with the intention of getting high, but it could easily make someone black out or pass out, or even be fatal, especially if they have no tolerance. As for whether their missing memories could return, I have no idea. When I have taken alcohol, benzos and opiates together I did not regain my missing memories. Assuming the person survived and wasn't in a coma or not breathing for a long period of time (causing brain damage) or anything like that, they should make a full recovery. This mixture is quite common in recreational drug users and responsible for a large number of drug overdoses. It is not at all common for people to spike someone's drink with this trio.

I am going to close this because there is no way we can know the answers to your other questions or whether or not someone was in fact given these drugs unknowingly, or the specific drugs involved.

Please feel free to private message me if you have any questions. Thanks.
