drug detox center

I have finally decided to go to a detox center. i researched and since I don't have the fundage ,due to my morphine addiction, I found a place that can help me get a grant from the state of Tennessee. Its called the Helen Ross McNabb center, I cant find any reviews or anything like that. My question is What is a detox center like? I'm kinda scared as I envision a gym like place with a bunch of cots in rows.I am on a waiting list where I call in everyday to try to move up on the list. Any input is greatly appreciated.

make sure its not a part psych ward too...the o0ne I went to had cutters. I could have detoxed better and wouldn't be on methadone right now if I didn't go to detox so impe I wouldn't go unless you're rock fucking bottom

well I am pretty much rock bottom. Im IV'ing 200-300mg of morphine everyday and whatever else I can get ahold of. I usually do a 100mg pill in the morning and then throughout the day I do half's but by the time I wake up the next day I'm already dope sick.......
