Drug Culture in Madison

So I just recently moved to Wisconsin to get away from everything and start over fresh. Well, at least SOMEWHAT fresh :p Anyway, in the six months that I've been here in Madison I have yet to glimpse even an inkling of drug subculture anywhere in the city. Yes, there is of course pot everywhere, and Adderall is rampant because of all the college kids, but I have yet to see coke, meth, or heroin. I haven't even heard anyone talk about it. It's kind of weird. It seems like Wisconsinites love their booze and their pot and don't have much use for the really good stuff. Those of you in the know, who were maybe raised in Wisconsin or went to school at UW, can you confirm or deny the lack of hard drug scene? I'm not really interested in going looking for it anyway but I did find it strange that with opiate use exploding all over the country, Madison seems to be exempt.
 
It's here in Wisconsin but there really isn't an open market to speak of...mainly phone connects. Good luck and happy hunting.
 
I picked up in Madison just last week on the south side. There are TONS of AA/NA meetings in Madison, been to tons of em. Point is that there are a shit ton of addicts in the city and thus...there are no doubt lotsa drogas floating around. Its definitely not open air but they're there. And the H i got was guite good. Grey, chunky but not quite RAW raw but very little cut. Most the fellow druggies I know head to Rockford or Chitown...or Milwaukee. Unless you're looking for herb which is no doubt readily available right in town. It mostly is, though... networking.

I grew up just 15mins (drive) from Madison, btw. Still live in the area
 
I have been in Racine for a year. Every time I bring up METH someone I get judged and then offers of cocaine. =/
 
In the fall of 2011 me and this girl I was living with decided to try and "start over" because we were badly junked out here in Cleveland. She lived up there for 8 years and knew a lot of people in AA there who could help us out.

Well, we managed to kick the dope at first, but after about 3 weeks or so we found a dope connection and it was all bad from there.

Like mentioned above, the dope was rather good, I was impressed. I didn't really see any coke, but crack was a pretty easy find. Weed is definitely everywhere.

The hard drug scene is definitely low-key and discreet for sure. The city didn't really have "hood/slum/ghetto/projects" areas where you could just roll in and get what you want. It's a college town. There were some lower income apartment complexes where you may figure you could find stuff, but I wouldn't call themselves projects or metro housing like here in Cleveland. I liked it there, but that girl I was with was just too much trouble and I wound up back here in Cleveland a couple months after trying to start over there.
 
Madtown is all about the phone connects, southside mostsly.. Drive East on 94 for 45 minutes. Once you're in Miltown, it's all good.

The differences between Madison and Milwaukee are large.. I liken Madison to a west coast city, Meth, bth, and yuppies.. and Milwaukee is like an east coast city, ecp, blue collar, and powder h..

I've never written anybody on here before so I'm sorry lol but I just got up to sun prairie for school. I'm from Alabama and don't have any connects, any advice on scoring boy up this way? I appreciate it
