Yes, but sometimes that place will greet a pill with several gallons of battery acid, so you have to look for alternates (or take Zantac, which I recommend before a pill even if you don't get heartburn). Water is also a good way to control the dose while in a public setting. Sipping water is less conspicuous than reaching into your pocket every fifteen minutes and biting off a chunk of a pill. And if you mix it with wine...well there's just a wonderful decadence to that.

I think you misunderstood my post. I didnt mean swallowing the pill without water. I just meant swallowing the pill whole with water without breaking it up into fine powder. No doubt water helps but Id rather enjoy a nice long comeup rather than a short lived one.

I put some of a pill in water it tasted disgusting and I never really thought to try mixing it in a drink again but I bet with the right mix it could be pretty good.
