Does anybody know how many hours or days dried shrooms can withstand traveling in hot weather in a vehicle without losing potency?

What temperature would be too hot? And for this question, if at all possible, can you please specify the absolute temp inside the vehicle as opposed to the outside air temp since different vehicles may vary in how many extra degrees they add inside the vehicle.

Thanks so much

If you're just taking a road trip you'll be fine, don't worry about any potency loss that may happen. Try to keep them as cool as possible obviously. They will degrade noticeably within a couple weeks of moderate heat in my experience, but if you keep them in an airtight glass jar and in the dark, you should be fine while you're traveling. Tuck them away real deep inside your stuff and they should stay cooler than the rest of the car anyways. Good luck, have fun.

A big factor with the degradation of tryptamines is humidity. In the case of psilocybin, water will catalyze the hydrolysis of the phosphate-esther at the 4' - position creating psilocin which is very prone to further degradation. Keeping the shrooms dry will preserve the psilocybin and also prevent the growth of mold on the shrooms. Good way for keeping them dry is to put them into a brown glass (pill bottle or similar) and put a desiccant (for example these little bags of silica-beads) with it. Screw the glass tightly, done :). Good travels mushmello !!!
