Dried out dank??

So I had a dealer once who was trying to sell what he called dried out dank. He was selling it at three times the price of normal dank for a gram due to the lack of water weight. I didn't buy any since I had never heard of anyone doing this. Is this possible to do? Dry out high grade weed without damaging the thc/cannabinoids resulting in a higher potency per gram

Every time I've ever bought high grade weed it's always been green still. Dried out is usually how mid grade or schwag comes.

drying herb doesnt increase its strength. if anything the drier it gets the weaker it gets, in my experience,
due to the trichomes drying up/evaporating over time

I agree with everyone here except everyone here is forgetting the fact that wet weed is sold. Before it is even ready they sell it to make weight... So maybe this asshole is just trying to sell weed he got wet and dried him self. Either way punch him in his mouth and tell him to buy his weed already cured and sell normal prices

however, i have purchased some extra dry stuff that i would call upper range mids. i ended up getting a really tiny looking 8th, but it lasted longer than i expected because it was denser.

does drying it out effect the thc? not really. but it does burn faster, which is not as pleasant.
