I strongly believe that dreaming plays an important role in our function of the brain. In order to have good dreams, one must free their minds and accept the truth. When you lay your head to rest, clear your mind and free your spirit. Good dreams mean positive things. We thrive on our dreams because it is our escape into the dream world. Have you seen Inception? In this movie they steal their memory's information which is crucial to the criminals. I believe dreaming produces dopamine and seretonin which is important. Melatonin is a good supplement in producing vivid dreams. The more vivid, the better the result.

Dreams are what we are made of. In the waking world, we are confused and asking ourselves what is real and what isn't. Dreams are like the spice of life, the more the tastier. Dreams are essential in producing a peaceful state.

Don't really know if any of that is scientifically or medically supported, but its an interesting thought nonetheless.

If you're tossing and turning at night, you're not clearing your mind. Relax your eyes and let the sandman take you away on a journey.

I don't remember my dreams, I don't think I toss or turn and normally feel well when I wake up.
I do know that when I was talking to a psychiatrist after someone I knew was in hospital when they asked what did I dream about and I said I did not remember that it was good as I was not having nightmares about what happened, so I think it does play a role but unless you are not having a great nights sleep or having nightmares I don't think it matters so much.
