theres no thread for dragon quest? really? wow. so then, discuss here the squareenix series that, unlike final fantasy, continues to get better with every release: the dragon quest series.
dq9 came out earlier this year on the DS, and hot damn is it awesome. Its really easy to sink HUNDREDS of hours in this game. I've personally logged over 300 hours, and have heard of others with 600-700+ hours. if you like rpgs and you get this game, you will not be disappointed.
on a related note, the dq6 ds remake will be released in north america in february, but as of just the other day an english translation patch was released, for those who have flash cards and dont want to wait (or you could always play it with an snes emulator, as that translation patch has been out for years and years).
