DPT & DiPT - 40mg & 25mg IM - Not at all what I expected

Mindset, setting, preparation, etc: roughly the same as this report.

Early one afternoon, just before my friends lit a bowl of cannabis, I retreated to the bathroom, swabbed my leg, and uncapped the pre-prepared syringe containing 25mg of DiPT and 40mg of DPT. I chose my right glute for the injection site, and quickly administered the solution. I applied pressure with a cutip for a few seconds, then covered with a band aid and walked back out into the living room.

I took a few hits of high-grade marijuana, then sat down and conversed a bit with my friends. We had all just woken up from raving the night before (goa rave out in the woods, quite nice and chill), and I had decided not to take anything because I wasn't in the right mood, but now I was.

The intensity increased very quickly. Soon I was jittering and my vision was blurring up. I was having trouble keeping track of the conversation and after 10 minutes or so, I layed down on the floor and tried to calm myself. I was starting to think everyone in the room knew something was wrong with me (I hadn't told them of my dosing) and thought that I was acting very strangely.

Within another 5-15 minutes (I lost all track of time), the echoes were too much for me to discern anything that was said. The synesthesia was amazing! I was hearing what I was seeing, and seeing what I was hearing. The CEV's were very similar to some of the zooming sequences in the Animatrix, and the sense-crossing was making it very difficult to interact with anything outside of my own mind.

Despite all of that, if I opened my eyes and sat up, I could still make out what was being said.

At this time, I decided for the first time in my psychedelic history, that I was incapable of interaction and I retreated to the shower. My sense of hearing was heightened so much that I spent a few minutes looking for the source of hissing, only to find that it was coming from within the showerhead (something I had never before noticed).

At one point, I kept seeing droplets reappearing and running down my body as if I had the showerhead on the mist setting (which I did not). I stopped the shower, and it kept happening. This is one of the most realistic hallucinations I have had.

I dried off, and went back to my room. Everyone had left the living room, but I was still hearing voices. In my bedroom, I had the auditory equivalent of CEV's. Beeps, echoes, flanges, phasers, clicks, whistles, and a host of other sounds and effects that, when added up, produced the most psychedelic set of sounds I have ever heard. Only one thing was consistent: a broken, yet constant buzzing, set at a deep tone, almost like a vocoder.

Eventually, I got around to meditation and entered a trance almost immediately. Suddenly, I was just a consciousness floating through another universe that was not under my control. Everything I was hearing had a visual representation, and vice versa. This is the first time I have experienced ego dissolution, despite trying many times with 5-MeO-DMT.

When I felt like I could talk to people again, I went back to the living room and talked with a friend who was playing Star Fox. The normal auditory effects of DiPT lasted for another 3-4 hours; voices were very deep and unrecognizable, though I could discern (most of the time) what was said.

This was the most intense experience I've had yet, definitely a +4. It's one of those that makes me reconsider my entire life. I feel no desire for another experience any time soon, and very content. The afterglow was amazing. However, I'm not sure if I'll be taking the same dosage. It was a bit overwhelming. I think in a different setting with more careful preparation it would be much more manageable. It was like being stuck in an Alex Grey painting both auditorially and visually.

I'm definitely researching this combination more.
