If someone, or better yet, a few people could clear this up for me it would be huge, because I've read through a large number of threads and still haven't found a clear answer to this question.
The thing is, I could understand with alprazolam why you would want to dose the gfj 30 minutes before etc, because the alprazolam "high" only lasts what - 3- 4 hours or so. But with clonazepam, the massive half-life will have a decent dose working in your system for daaays.
Intuitively, it doesn't seem like it would be correct to slam a big glass of WGFJ 30 minutes prior - seems like the clonazepam would be active long after the wgfj is out of your system.
My goal is not for recreation, but to use less clonazepam and make it last longer. For example, let's say I take 4 mg clonazepam mid day Sunday to chill out and catch up o sleep (a substantial dose for me, 1 mg provides relief from any anxiety). Normally without gfj, I would be inclined to take another 1 mg Monday morning before work, but my goal would be to piggyback my big 4mg dose into the next day so I don't even have to take another dose in the morning.
Because clonazepam has such a long half-life, wouldn't it make more sense to drink the GFJ a few times AFTER, throughout the entire day, to ensure that the GFJ is working the WHOLE time the clonazepam is working vs. just taking a single shot dose of GFJ 30 minutes prior like you would with alprazolam.
Please let me know if my thinking is correct on this, thanks.
