Nah, love metal but Download has way too many "scene" bands. Get Dream Theater to play and I'll be there like a shot.

Been to Download the past 2 years and had a quality time at each. I'd really like to go again this year but I'm in Canada this year and my visa lasts till July 31st and Download's too early with it being in June. I'll buy plane tickets back especially for it if I win the lottery though

Always regretted missing the year Guns n Roses played, got to see them few years later and they were fucking brilliant.

As much as I love the music.. nah, too much walking and not enough people on drugs (well, not the year I went, anyway.)

Well this will be my first Download, and my first festival altogether, actually. So I'm afraid I'm lost in this conversation. 
Download is pretty great. I'm not exactly into the music, but the whole atmosphere the one time I went was great. Had a fucking wonderful time off my tits wandering round the funfair, meeting randoms, drifting through fog at 5am and seeing bands I otherwise wouldn't have. Beats the arse off Leeds fest
