dosages of agomelatine to block the adverse effects of psychedelics on heart valves.

^ has that ever been shown in humans or other primates? Or is the rodent data still the best we have?

I also had the thought of using Agomelatine to reduce muscle tension and cardiovascular effects but I've not tried it yet. For muscle tension at least, Black Cohosh works like a charm as it counters the smooth muscle contraction caused by 5HT2a processes by agonising 5HT7, which isn't present in many PEA's but is present in DMT and LSD, which is why it feels so clean.

The thing about 5HT2b antagonism is that it would cause less serotonin release, which would contribute to the psychedelic effects, as more serotonin would be introduced to the agonised 5HT receptors. So, it's kind of a stalemate. The only way to be absolutely certain is to try it and see what the outcome would be. I've been putting off getting some for too long now to test this theory but eventually it will happen.

IMO it would cause reduced psychedelic action, due to the lack of extra serotonin release but it would reduce cardiovascular side effects, which is a plus. Overall it's a complete unknown until someone tries it. I'm going to try it though, just to see how it would work. Whenever that is, is also a complete unknown!
