RavenousBlonde
Bluelight Crew
Since there is always mass confusion about the Versace logo press that features the Medusa head, I thought I'd try to give you peeps a lesson in "haute couture"...
This pic is of my (almost empty! wah!) bottle of Versace's "Blonde" perfume.
The Medusa head is actually carved into the glass, so it appears to be 3-d when the bottle of perfume is full. Some people mistake Medusa (a Greek Goddess) for a cherub, which is not true, as you can tell by her name.
The gold around the cap of the bottle features a Greek "keywork" design, which I am not sure if you can see very well in the pic. This is that "pretty border" everyone sees around the edges of the Versace pill press. If you've ever seen a button on say, a pair of Versace jeans, you'd know where the pressers got their idea for the stamp from. On small objects like buttons, Versace's Madusa logo is usually encircled in this Greek keywork design.
Ok, that's "Fashion 101" for today! lol
Seriously, I thought this pic might help those who don't know the difference (guys!) in these fancy Versace/Armani/ect presses. Sorry I can't provide a pic of something with the Armani logo...Mr. RB isn't an "Armani" kinda guy. lol
