Doing acid alone

As long as you prep well being alone has the potential to be a magical experience. Id recommend being outside in a beautiful part of nature, my fav is near the ocean, with access to a forrest. Something like an ocean wildlife refuge.

The key to LSD is believing that its impossible to have a bad time.

No Fear = Safe Trip

^^ that depends on how you like your trips. I take psychedelics for the introspection and pretty visuals so people are a nuissance (sp?) for people like me. I can enjoy a trip with nothing more than a comfy bed, music, and a pitch black room... I guess I'm just a boring person to trip with. I have had a couple group mushroom trips that were very fun but overall I prefer solo tripping.

Different strokes for different folks for sure.
I'm generally a little introverted so most drugs I enjoy doing alone more, but LSD makes me very social and I love talking and chilling with people on acid

Yeah low doses of LSD can be pretty social, especially with a bit of MDMA but when I take L I like to go DEEP so the last thing I want around are people, sober or tripping. Like you said though, everyone has their preferances...

whatever you feel most comfortable doing OP is what you should do. LSD is purely subjective. If you would like someone to be there, maybe wait until you have developed a friendship where psychedelic use-age is ok. if you would like to be alone than you will be okay.

my recommendation is to always have some Xanax as a backup plan incase things start becoming uncomfortable.

Depends how much you're doing. If it's a lot, then having someone around can go either way. If it's someone you harmonize with throughout the trip, then they'll act as an occasional anchor to snap you out of whatever reality you've been sucked into for too long. If they're annoying, they will make your trip very challenging.

If you're doing lighter doses where you're more functional, can go for walks, etc... then doing it alone can be awesome.

Psychedelics are a lot better alone; alone I can transition fully into the trip, rather than being "tied down" to normal reality by other people. Psychedelics are far from "social drugs", they are drugs of the mind above all else, and when are you gonna go deeper into your mind then when alone? I also like to dose high, but that is definitely not for everyone, I react very well to psychedelics, I don't really lose control like many do. And while I'd say dosing alone should give you a more complete trip, that also means you've gotta be reasonably good at pulling yourself out of any bad places you may end up.

Well said tryptamine-tripper. I personally find higher doses to be less anxiogenic than lower doses. I'm not sure exactly why, but being fully immersed is much more comfortable to me than riding the rocky borderlines of being 'high' and having a 'psychedelic' experience. I've also found that the nature of two humans is to communicate, which can be really distracting from a trip. I've had trips with people that just wouldn't stop commenting on their trip, meanwhile i just wanted to have mine! For introverted psychotherapeutic potential, tripping alone may be the best option, where as tripping with a friend is more of a bonding device.

Some people like to trip alone and other people only take a psychedelic with other people who are also on it. There are benefits to doing both and it's a personal preference.
