I need links to actual websites with real information not that goverment bullshit. Also need sites with information on how they react with the brain. I know some information but just want some good research sites that I can't cite thanks!

Erowid.org is pretty much the gold standard for drug info online. Check the sources cited on various substances' wikipedia articles as well.

I dunno if Bluelight would be considered reliable in the sense that it would qualify as scholarly evidence. try going to MAPS.org they have like a database of great information and its all very credible.

What kind of paper is it? are you looking for the psychological effects of psychedelics? pharmacological? long term vs short term?

^ i second maps.org, also, if you're looking for journal articles of a more scientific nature, got to pubmed.gov or use google scholar, they're both really useful.

Wikipedia usually has links to pubmed type articles in their citations as well. I use it like a citation engine sometimes.

a pretty nice review in which you can probably also find some good references is the article "hallucinogens" by Nichols.

hosted at erowid

Also there's a book called "psychedelics reconsidered" which also has a lot of nice references and info

oh yeah, there's a book called "Higher Wisdom: Imminent Elders Explore the Continuing Impact of Psychedelics" that's a wealth of info.

Also, the hoffman collection at erowid is the most complete database of psychedelic specific scientific research one could ever hope to find

Google scholar is awesome.

Also, if you got to a major university, check and see if the library has any journal subscriptions. Or you could even find some books. Erowid's library may be a good starting point.

I did a paper on why psychedelics should be legal first semester in college.
Some of the links i used have already been mentioned, however, I would suggest the Bio part of Pihkal, as Shulgin has some very well thought-out points that he makes with regards to psychedelics.
And here are some internet links:
A great NY Times article on the Psilocybin studies at John's Hopkins in 2006
