At a festival of sorts (imagine a festival in Royston Vasey - a local festival for local people!) and around the 7pm mark it's time to start the proceedings with 2.5mg of DOET down the hatch. Onset was very smooth over 2 hours, with all the same telltale alerts as DOM, only not as in your face. I'd been warned DOET can have a dark side and around 9:30 things started to hange gears on my in said way. Everyone started to look like grotesque paradies of themselves and that's where it became a little too much like the aforementioned 'Leauge of Gentlemen' affair - not sure if at the bar a woman was giving me chat up lines, but all I could see in the face etc was some hitherto unknown LoG character.
At that point I went back to the tent and after 20-30 minutes, the freakyness subsided enough that I could go back to where it was all happening. That was all that was required to avert the unwanted feelings. Around the 4 hour mark, by which time I was grinning like an idiot,the spliffs, pipes started going around and it mellowed even further. There's not as much ooomph as DOM, but all the telltale signs were there - hyper exaggeration of colours and their meaning emotionally, a slight unwordlyness to everything and being very awake. Maintaining was easy, but only if that was your intention; it was sti possible to lose yourself in it. One big difference is that it lacked dOM's feeling of having too much energy that has to be dissipated or I usually end up with intermittant leg tremor.
All went utterly crazy afer 20mg of DPT around the t+7 hour. Didn't talk much as I was totally immersed in tripping. One woman came over who I felt tempted to say something to (like please stop talking/ it helps if you occasionally allow people a break to think about such shit etc, but thought better of it as I thought I couldn't be sure if diplomacy was my thing at that moment.
In morning I had a little peevee wake me up dose; I still had trip patterns etc but needed some get up & go after 2 days of serious drug piggery. It didn't interact with the DOETs effects though, which continued on at a low level well into the afternoon. Sill a little fatigued today, 30 odd hours afterwards, but nothing to much to handle.
Overall it's rather like DOM-light, which was sort of expected, but had a few unique things like I actually felt more sharp and wittier than if I'd had DOM (didn't have DOM's deep psychedelic push). One final comment - it' was the only unkown factor so must have played some role - on the way back in the car I happened to pass wind with the effect that the other person in the back seat, who'd rather being hammering the MDPV) suddenly said please stop now, stumbled from the car and threw up! Later on I realized why after going to toilet. It's a bad affair when yout farts & visits to the toilet as so bad smelling you can't stand the smell of your own shit!
Would I take it again - yes but I'd have to be somewhere I was totally comfortable to ride out the dark part early on
