Oh wow, that's interesting. I will agree with you and
@BamaNewb that oral ingestion of meth hits differently than other RoAs, and in a manner that seems more similar to rolling MDMA/MDA in certain respects. For me, I characterize this as being a bit more emotional and resonant with others, whereas vaporizing/"smoking" meth feels more ethereal, intellectual, and less connected with my corporeal body, if that makes sense. So insofar as that ties into sexual desire, that certainly checks out and makes perfect sense, but meth acts as an aphrodisiac in either route regardless.
I also find that orally consumed meth causes in me more distraction, brain-scatter, hand trembling, talkativeness, dry mouth, and loss of appetite. So whenever I do consume it, I tend to prefer vaporizing it from a shallow bubbler with a 90° curved oil burner attached via ground glass joint. I use cold filtered water preferably. I keep the glass clean with water rinses, the occasional ethanol and table salt rinses, and I use small pieces of melamine foam (aka: "magic erasers") torn off and pushed around in the bowl with a toothpick for any stains. I also rinse my mouth afterward with water to remove any trace hcl particles liberated when the crystals melt and the top layer becomes atomized when vacuum is applied from inhalation.
Do you suppose this is due to the rush? I rarely find cocaine, insufflated or inhaled as freebase or crack, does much for me sexually at all.
And if this is so—the rush I mean—do you not personally get any rush from inhalation of meth vapor (aka: "smoking" meth)? Just curious what's your take, bc I absolutely find this rush stimulating in several ways.
The human body's interaction with substances is a study in individual variability. Though we might expect consistent effects, the resulting intrapersonal experiences can be remarkably distinct.
