Does Suboxone make you sweat? Or am I having (very) mild precipitated withdrawls?

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for welcoming me into your (usually) kind, always informative community.
Long time lurker, first time poster.

I am by no means drug naive, but I shot H for the first time on Wednesday, my last shot being at about 7:30am Thursday morning EST. I shot about 1 bag at about 8pm on wednesday, loved it, and repeated every 3 hours, shooting 2 bags each time, except for my last shot, which was again 1 bag. 10 bags total. I do have opiate experience, occasionally dabbling in pain killers, but I haven't in about 3 months.

My friend gave me some 2mg Suboxone strips and told me to take them if I was feeling shitty, but to wait at least 24 hours. So, at about 6am this morning, I dissolved a strip under my tongue. I immediately felt pretty much better and fell into a blissful sleep. I just woke up about an hour ago, and was unusually sweaty. Other than that, I feel fine. I did some searching, and see that a lot of people recommend waiting at least 72 hours after your last use.

Should I expect to start feeling worse, or would I already have other symptoms if they were coming? I'd like to take one more strip, but would like an answer before I do so.

Thanks in advance for your help.

No, if you waited 24 hours after your last dose of heroin you will be fine. Some people are fine after just 12 hours but that is pushing it. I think what you read about 72 hours is referring to how long you have to wait before being able to feel the full effects of another opiate. If you waited 24 hours you will be fine.

All opiates make my temperature rise, leading to nasty sweating fits in the summer (especially because I have to wear long sleeves to cover my arms :p)

Sweating is definitely a side effect of the Sub. It is not withdrawal. Yes you sweat when withdrawaling from sub too, but it's a different kind of sweating. I sense you are getting the actual Sub sweats, not the WD kind.
