Does speed have a use by date?

hey, just wondering how long you could keep speed for. i've got a couple of g's that i don't intend to use for a bit over two months. do amphetamines undergoe any breakdown or degradation with time?

yes it looses potency with time. Stick it in the fridge, and it can stay fresh for several months, if not years.
 
No.. methamphetamine is very stable, you could hold onto it for a very long time and it wouldn't degrade in potency... that is, it will be good a lot longer then you will be able to hold onto it..

LOL. true! your meth will stay good, dont worry about that. but i for one, do not know how you could possibly hold onto some crystal for a few months, haha...i could never...

thanks, is there a difference between speed and meth in how long they will keep?
ps. its true, i doubt i'll be able to hold onto this gear for long enough for it to even think about losing potency
 
jamikins: perhaps you'd have more luck posting in the europe+africa forum as speed which usually in the uk refers to straight amphetamine (as opposed to methamphetamine) appears to be far less common in the states. i've kept it for something like 6 months and noticed no loss in potency and that was in a (moderately) warm environment.

"speed" = amphetamine in UK or methamphetamine in the US
"meth" = methamphetamine worldwide
They will be good for as long as you will have them ... if you live in the UK then chances are you're NOT dealing with methamphetamine...

cool, thanks for the info. i'm in australia and i know for sure that its amphetamine not methamphetamine. speed and meth seem to be pretty much equally available over here.
