Does propanolol have any recreational value?

No. None what so ever!

A lot of people so no but I find it quite relaxing I have the 40mg IR ones and they seems to take a lot of anxiety away and chill u out a bit but after the effects start to go u r left sleepy but not in a nice way just a groggy way IMO 40 of propanalol is about the same a 10mgs of Valium

I disagree. I've taken the 40mg IR and they feel nothing like valium to me, not even close. If that was the case the 160mg i am now on would knock me out cold yet it doesn't even make me tired! But that's just my opinion.

They are also a drug that once you start taking you can't just stop without the risk of tachycardia. You have to taper.
