Does pregabalin interfere with psilocybin?

Good morning everyone.

As the topic says, I'm wondering if having taken 600mg pregabalin will interfere with a shroom trip? From what I understand it affects calcium channels and not receptors, but I don't have the expertise to evaluate this. I intended to take no food or drugs before going to that wonderful world but pain problems forced me to take pregabalin. I also have buprenorphine for pain, but so far that has never interfered with psychedelics. Both are legal prescriptions, not that it really matters.

Last time I had lithium in my system and didn't know it's a dangerous combo. I took only a small amount and ended up with one of the best trips of my life. I feel changed somehow, for the better.

I really feel like doing this today and I would appreciate any information or experiences with this (unintentional) combination. I won't do it if there's a potential problem.

it looks like it will, its a drug that acts on GABA subunits, but doesnt seem to bind directly to the GABA receptors like xanax and related drugs. i may be wrong, but worst case scenario you waste your shrooms, best case you trip

It worked out great. Tried it the lemon tek way (of which I had my doubts) and was pleasantly surprised. No body load or long afterglow, and very intense trip. It just suddenly ended and I could go right to sleep without problems. I don't think the pregabalin interfered, but it had been some 15 hours since I took it. Anyway, very refreshing.
