I recently bought "4 hits" of what I was told was LSD, from a stranger in a strange place. He had it in liquid form, in a plastic dropper. He dripped it onto a square of what I first thought was a piece of a business card, but I later realized was just a little piece of the kind of paper you'd put in a copier. He wrapped it in a glossy party flier, still wet, and handed it to me. I didn't open it until it was dry, and when I did, the paper had left an imprint of residue on the flier.
The first time, I tried 1/4 of the square of paper, which I held on my tongue for an hour. The second time, I tried half of what remained, again, for an hour, this time under my tongue so it wouldn't dissolve too early. Both times I noticed a faint chemical taste. But neither time could I definitively say I felt any effect. I felt something faint, but that could easily be attributed to smoking some good marijuana and expecting to trip.
At this point, is there any point to cutting out that square of residue on the flier with a boxcutter and trying to eat it, or is it safe to assume I was ripped off?
Is it possible this really was LSD, but because of the way it was applied and handled, it didn't survive well?
For the record, in the past I've bought liquid LSD applied to a heavy, non-glossy business card, and waited until it dried in open air before letting it touch anything. Pieces of this business card got me tripping months later.
