Hey guys I don't know if its the right place to ask this question but I think it is the closest one relating it.

So few weeks ago my doc prescribed me Gabapentin for nerve pain. He told me to call him after 2-3 weeks to let him know if it's working or not. I can't say it didn't work but still I know the Lyrica is better one, so when I called I told him it doesn't help much and he prescribed me the Lyrica (even without mention anything about the drug). He prescribed me the Gabapentin with 1 refill. My question is if I go to Walgreens in my neighborhood after couple of weeks and take the refill, will Walgreens fax/report him that I took the refill? I want to have it just in case but I don't want next time I call my doc to say "you took the refill of Gabapentin I thought you said it's not helping". Anybody familiar with this kind of situation?

No, pharmacies dont report to doctors everytime a patient refills a medicine. Make sure you arent on Walgreens autofill system or it will attempt to fax the doctor when refills run out.

Op, I did the same thing with Gabapentin and Lyrica. Lyrica is barely controlled(IMO) schedule V and Gabapentin is uncontrolled. If Your doctor asks, you didn't know they were similar. Do not pull that stuff with benzodiazepines, amphetamines, opiates, etc. That is trouble.

That is funny. My case happened by accident, so I just rolled with it. I get enough good stuff to ever try messing with the system.
