Does LSD find you?

LSD definitely finds you, but you also have to look. Looking kind of triggers LSD to find you.

LSD finds me to be a little too trippy... :(
Relationship therapy? Oh yes, win!

interesting thread...

i think there are those of us that have to search a while and for some, it just falls in their lap.

I think this balance is needed.

Go to any jamband show and if you cant find it in the lot you have brain damage. seriously. phish/furthur/stringcheese incident/widespread/any music attracting dreadlocks and has a lot scene. easy

I interpret the 'two way street' as opportunities presenting themselves causally and incidentally while you have to be open to present yourself to these opportunities. You won't easily find something unless you are looking for it, but neither if you never happen to cross it's path.

A good example of a two way street: you find the party, the party includes LSD, the chances of encountering it are increased by a landslide, then the LSD finds you as a figure of speech.

Delighted that you can interpret my vague rambling so accurately :)

Here is a question.

Why LSD? Can you say the same for other psychedelics? Why is this discussion just over one single substance which has a psychedelic effect? Is it because LSD is the most common?

Like I said before "if LSD finds someone, isn't that implying that they are worthy of being found? Meaning it is supposed to happen? That doesn't make any sense, there are plenty of people that shouldn't be using LSD but it 'found them' and so they are"

Not only is there a lack of evidence for the idea that LSD finds you, there is clear evidence supporting the idea that it does not find you. And also that finding LSD it is no different than any other drug.

First off, I think you're thinking into the title of the thread, way too much. You are taking it way to literal. Did you think I meant, one day a sheet of acid, would knock on your door, and invite itself in? What if I would have titled the thread "Strange coincidences with LSD"? Would that have sat better with you?:? Why would you have to be "worthy" to be found? Where in this thread, does it imply, only the worthy will get theirs? "Worthy" is not a term synonymous with drug use, at least not in my 10+ years of experience. I believe everyone is entitled to an LSD experience, if they wish. Who am I to say otherwise?

Because everyone is talking like LSD has a mind of its own. Or maybe it's influenced by a higher power. I'm saying it's no different than any other drug.

If you don't mean it literally than explain to me what exactly you are trying to say. What do you mean by it finding you.

I have felt that way before when LSD has been given to me, like it was meant to be. It felt like there was some meaning behind it when someone actually was just feeling generous enough to share. I felt that way because I was tripping.

Maybe worthy was a bad choice of words. I won't sit here and say who is and 'worthy' of something and who isn't. My point was that in my mind, some individuals should not be using psychedelics. That may be because they can't control their use or because they aren't stable enough. So with this theory of LSD finding you, the way I interpret it, if it finds these individuals it would be a mistake. I feel this breaks the rules of the theory itself the way I look at it.

Im just looking for a way to draw actual evidence.
