I asked for mephedrone at my local headshop the other day, and the clerk told me "Selling mephedrone would require a pharmacy liscense and we're not a pharmacy, however we do have bath salts are you familiar with bath salts?"

I had heard that mephedrone was usually sold as "bath salts", but aren't a lot of other research chems also sold as bath salts?

Does anyone know what's in "Eclipse Exotic Bath Salts"? It cost No Prices a gram at the headshop.

There is no information on the packet, although it says "Do not misuse or abuse product - not for sale to minors... Do not eat" so its definitely got to be some type of psychoactive.

It also says "This mind expanding, mood enhancing dissolvent is a sure way to increase awareness, while at the same time breaking down the walls that society constructs around us all."

Also, is it safe to take mephedrone if I took some tramadol earlier today?

This is the shitty state of RC's my friend, dozens of brands of bath salts containing a variety of (potentially) dangerous unlabeled ingredients. Depending on which head shop you're at, and which batch you have, it could be a totally different product every time even under the same name.

Because of this, its one of those things where its useless to speculate. It could contain anything from caffeine to the neurotoxic flephedrone (see this thread for some actual lab tests done on the NRG series bath salts.)

If anyone has any lab testing data for this particular brand, please PM me and I'll open this back up. Otherwise, I'm going to close it for now just because theres no way for us to tell within reason whats actually in them.
