Does crack suck or do I?

So I've done my fair share of amphetamines over the years and love 'em. Being the good druggie that I am, when I was offered some ghetto crack on the street, I went for it. Smoked a $20 rock, and it felt exactly like a low dose of tweak for about five minutes, and then like a crash from a decent dose of tweak for 20 minutes. This whole time I had a very strong urge to keep smoking more; I finished off every little bit I had. Sadly, the best part of the experience was the novel feeling of my lips, mouth, and throat going numb.
Question is: is this normal, or did my high tolerance to every fucking drug on this planet screw me once again? Would smoking more at once at least produce a high worth the effort, even for five minutes? If not, what the hell kind of moron abuses this drug?

crack is the most unfulfilling drug on the earth....

crack & coke are quite overrated (if i had to choose between them i would just get coke instead)
what you describe sounds normal - its not you, crack does just SUCK
despite the harsh comedown i did used to be very fond of coke, but then i discovered METH

I personally find freebase Coke very euphoric and rewarding...for 2 minutes. Something to cap off something else - like an orgasm maybe. Always has you coming back for more

I don't understand how get addicited to it... if you think about it, the drug is rather costly considering the durration of the high, and it's effects are not that great - I don't see how people get so tied up with it with turn tricks to afford another rock - it's simply not that good...

people always say crack is shit when they try it for the first time but thats because they dont smoke it properly.
make a bong and take in about a 6th of a rock worth at a time. assuming a rock is 0.2 grams. basically take a 6th all in then hold it down in ur lungs for 15 seconds. stand up and then blow it out hard. remember hard. then wait about 3 seconds and u will get this fucking amazing feeling all over ur body. complete body and mind head fuck. if you cant handle it, dont worry. it only lasts 2 minutes and then u want more.
 
The above is simply your opinoin.. I HAVE "properly" smoked crack .. I smoked some good Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd rocks, held the hit until I was ready to pass out - yes, I got the "bell ringer" once or twice.. but it was not a high so pleasureable I would want to go hawk my TV for a rock ..
Girls are differn't ... girls brains are all wigiddy wack and the simply thought of cocaine gives them full body orgasams...

i don't think it's addiction that keeps people coming back for more...i think it's the feeling of "that's it?? there has to be more to it"...so they smoke another rock to try and figure out what's so special about it only to get the same effect...so they pop another rock in the pipe hoping that it'll be better this time...same shit happens...the cycle repeats and by the time they figure out that there's nothing special about crack they have either developed a habit they have to support now or they're sitting in an empty apartment cuz they pawned everything they owned for a piece of rock...
 
Dunno, I agree with PhreeX in that it is odd how people trade their lives for crack. But it does offer a ridiculously intense euphoria/rush albeit for only 1-3 minutes. Never tried nitrous, but i don't know of anything else that has the same intensity (save tryptamines) of pleasure.
 
hmm,my uncle smokes crack ALOT ,he knows when enough is enough though i have seen him give away almost a whole 8 ball,but anyway we went riding after he took 4 hits (off a CAN!!) and he wasnt ready for another hit til like 15 - 20 min,we wen back after that(so he could hit it again)..anyway the stuff he gets must be a bit more potent than what ou peole are getting...i dunno
and he gets t down in maryland...
 
yea, i don't know how much street crack and coke is usually cut but i'd guess that it's usually maybe 20% goods. 20-30mg of pure HCl should be enough to feel good for 45 minutes.
 
crack does suck, i only tryed it one time and got the same effects that you did.... crank was alot better in my book, though i dont do that anymore, because i abused that drug worse than anything else in my life.. i personally think crank is one of the most addicting drugs there is
 
The few times I've smoked "crack" I thought it was an absolute waste. Fortunantly it was free and I didn't pay for it.
The only time I enjoyed smoking cocaine was when I got pure freebase. That was one of the most intense experiences of my life and definantly worth it. It was by rare chance that I hooked up with some LONG time coke users that had been doing it since the 70's and probably a once in a life time thing. I'm sure it's not easy to find pure freebase, and I definantly wouldn't want to risk trying to make it myself.

Well, I am glad I am not the only one. Perhaps next time I get my hands on some good coke I will try freebasing a little, shouldn't be that hard... was sorta looking for that "intense five-minute orgasm."

the reason some of you cant understand why people get hooked on crack,is because your all fairly decent,good people.
the people that trade there lives for crack,are basically the bottom of the barrel,and dont have much left to loose,so they dont give a shit,as long as they can get just a few minutes of pleasure out of that glass dick.
if youre lives were filled with constant pain and misery,maybe you would dedicate it to crack and not be bothered about losing everything.
 
UK, that is SO not true... the lady i smoke crack with lives in a two story house loaded with computers and big screen TVs, she is rich, and not bottom of the barrel...
