does arizona have the best medical marijuana policy....employers can't discriminate

I'm not so sure this thread will stay open mate.

I think it's disgusting the way employees can be given the sack even if they're sober at the job for something they do in their own home which is legal at the state level. I've heard that despite the rules against unfair dismissal for being a medical cannabis user you're referring to, people are still getting dismissed by rogue employers under the false assumption that medical cannabis users will somehow be a risk to themselves or their colleagues' safety. I think for the benefit of every medical cannabis user these intolerant and ignorant employers should be challenged through every legal means at their disposal. I hope one day we'll look back at all this in utter disbelief and will see it as being a blight on our society in the same way that segregation was. It's an egregious violation of one's basic civil liberties and defies common sense.

If they want to do field sobriety test to detect impairment on the job then I'm all for that but coercing employees to submit to a drug test or hiring someone only on the condition of passing a drug test is unethical and achieves nothing apart from limiting the prospects of people that choose to use the herb. It's completely unacceptable, especially since cannabis remains in the blood for so long compared to other drugs and definitely can be detected for far longer than most hard drugs. This means that the testing process is inherently flawed as it actively discriminates against cannabis users. Not only this but it sends out the wrong message as it says to people you can take heroin on a Friday and have a negative piss test after a long weekend but if you smoke a joint you're fucked.

edit: i'm unsure but sorry if the above infringes on the rules.
