Does anyone know about turntables??? I need some help

Glad you like them,

Wicked, gonna have a listen.... and might have some more if you wanna hear

Aye mate, I'm always looking for new tunes.

You could try touching the earth wire on the outer of the phone connector on the preamp connection

GIVE THIS MAN A COOKIE!!!!

Works perfectly doing that (edit - still a slight buzzing in the background but I can live with that for the moment). Well played man.

Glad you got it sorted. As a general rule, the turntable ground lead should be connected to a stud terminal positioned as near as possible to the left and right audio sockets on the preamp / mixer. On odd occasions, it works better left not connected at all.

NO worries my 25years dedicated to electronics has finally met it's intimate conclusion, non where was that hefty rafter and the kettle flex ;)
