These folks have saved lives and helped educate responsible drug policy for 23 years. Following more than 23 years of this kind of work they have disappeared without explanation. I loved these guys, now they are gone.

DrugsData's most recent publication was in April.

DrugsData (America), Energy Control (Spain), Jellinek (Netherlands), and Wedinos (UK) provide greatly needed education and insight into responsible drug use. My heart is tremendously sick hearing that these folks have vanished from our lives without a trace.

Does anyone have news?

DrugsData lost their DEA license to test drug samples. Nobody knows why, but I'd imagine through sample mismanagement.

Nobody really knows why, or when/if they will be back.

Erowid (and associates/drugsdata), have had fairly close ties with the DEA for over 20-30 years... so it's really anyone's guess as to why they lost their DEA license (which caused them to halt operations, obviously).
