This is something I read a while back, and looked into a bit. I read a few articles and such about its use. Used to be an ulcer medication, but apparently it was found to reduce/eliminate ones tolerance to opiates. I am very much interested in this drug for the apparent reduction in tolerance to opiates. I have been a chronic pain patient for the past decade now, and with each year the dosages increase to keep the pain at bay. I need my medications just so I can live, and take part in the lives of those that I love and care about each day. I am not seeking a better way to get high on anything. Those days ended for me in July 1995. I am however interested in not having to take as many pills to alleviate my pain, and fewer pills will mean less money out of pocket for me.
I just want to know if anyone has any newer information. I am going to include an internet page address to a paper about this very thing. { http://opioids.com/proglumide/index.html }. If anyone has a link(s) to more information about this, please make a post/reply about it for me. Also if there is any first hand knowledge, I would love to read about that as well. Thank you in advance for any information.
