Does anyone else have to smoke weed to trip?

cannabis makes me calmer throughout the trip, it can get my heart racing but mentally weed makes me feel good throughout tripping, i tend to like joints while tripping ill roll 5-8 up as my trips kicking in with a joint roller its nice gives me something to do while waiting for my trip to kick in

I don't smoke cannabis anymore at all because of the paranoia it induces in me. This is even more pronounced on trips, as it makes me extremely paranoid and prone to anxiety and panic attacks. It also takes away mental clarity on trips, making my mind more cloudy. But I do know people who love to smoke weed when tripping.

It may make the trip "harder" but in a negative way for me, more confusion and less mental clarity. But as in my case, if you can't smoke weed at all, then obviously it's the last thing you'd want to do on a trip.
