I mean, I know they keep law and order (or so I hear), but they also take pride in fucking over harmless people doing harmless things.
First and foremost, I will say that this is totally my fault. I walked out of a party at an apartment with a cup about 1/4 of the way full with rum and coke. We were just walking about 50 feet from the apt to go to someone's car to get something. When we were about to the car, a another car was rolling through the complex, saw the cups and pulled over and immediately confronted us. The two people with me had cups but they were empty. Anyway, as soon as I could make out the outline of the car (it was dark) it hit the brakes and they jumped out. Right as they were getting out, I threw my cup between two cars to my right (apartment parking lot) and the bastard saw me. As soon as he was out he was like "Oh, I got you for littering too" and said "everybody show me your id's". Of course we were all underage and you would be an idiot anyway to try and give a fake to a cop. He told me "to get on all fours and find that cup or he would arrest me and I would be booked with convicts". I actually didn't see it under the car and kept looking and told him I didn't see it. So he looked and finally found behind the tire of the adjacent car. So there we were sitting Indian style in front of the police car. I was the only one of the three given a ticket (Minor in possession of liquor" and lets not forget the goddammed "littering (city)" ticket with a potential max fine of $1000. Fucking cops. But that wasn't good enough so he asked if we came out of that apartment over there and someone said yeah. So he walks over there and bumps into one of our friend's coming down the stairs with a cup in his hand and of course writes him a ticket too.
Oh well, the moral of the story is I was being stupid even having a cup outside the apt but cops will always be pigs and take pleasure in governing other's actions.
I guess PTI awaits. $350 down the drain in one night. Not to mention the random drug tests (I guess I will have those). I suppose I will have to get a letter from my psychiatrist explaining why I will always test positive for amphetamines (Adderall) so I don't get kicked out of PTI. Isn't the law wonderful?
Honestly though, it reminds you of how much worse it would have been if you had been caught with illegal drugs.

a little while ago me and three friends got busted with pot and while my friend was waiting in the holding-cell, he could actualy see and hear the arresting officers breaking up OUR chiba and dividing it between themselves. see the problem is, is that we actualy BUY INTO the whole uniform thing. but don't be fooled, cops are not machines. they are just normal people like you and me; and they need to be reminded of this. so, beat up a cop every time you get the opportunity. if you get a chance to clock one of them on the back of the head and take their shit (especialy firearm, cause they will get decommisioned for this) do it! and don't worry if it's just an average unasuming cop going about his own business. remember: would HE think twice about fucking with YOU?

"I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I don't care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is: 'What are they in a position to do about it?'" (William S. Burroughs)
