this drug was in the news recently. Tiger Woods was involved in getting his shots of it. Something like they draw your blood and replace it with actovegin. This is available in Canada, while illegal in the U.S. (so I read). Anyway, actovegin is made from calf's blood (so I read).
Why do athletes take this and why is it more controversial than deer velvet antler (Human Growth Hormone)? I take deer velvet antler, but might consider other options. If you have taken or know where to find good suppliers of actovegin, I'd like to check it out. A simple google led me to a few suppliers mostly canadian and european.
I have seen actovegin being marketed as "brain damage repair" or of similar nature. Brain rejuvenation?
I had no clue brain can be repaired. Now, a heart repairs itself with time and exercise, not sure about brain, especially using a drug called actovegin (calf's blood)? I have seen this product online in pill form as well as requiring a syringe.
