My friend gave me some "Molly" and I knew damn well it wasn't molly because they were only taking 15-20mg at a time and even the most pure MDMA needs 80-100 to make a non-tolerant person roll.

Anyways, I just Mecke'd it and I'm 99% sure it's a 2c-x based on that nice reagent list someone did on like 50 RCs. Brown in the middle and yellow ring.

THIS IS NOT AN ID THREAD. I AM NOT ASKING FOR YOU TO HELP ME ID THIS. I DON'T EVEN CARE.

My question is: Does 2c-x, especially 2c-i fizzle when it is Mecke'd.

all that the fizzle indicates is that the substance being tested is the HCl salt. Most 2c-x are sold as the hydrochloride, but MDMA can be as well, so that doesn't really help with the identification.

Indeed.

Quoting from this brilliant thread: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/...esults-for-stim-empathogen-2C-X-RC-s-amp-more

(Which I see you are referring to yourself!!)

Fizz: Fizz is meaningless when identifying the compound present - it only tells you that the sample was present as the HCl salt (or salt of a similar volitile acid). Hence, fizz is proportional to the amount of Whatever HCl you dumped in. When fizz is useful is if you are testing something, and you see a lot of fizz, but only a slow color change to the expected compound, or when you think you have the base, and it fizzes, you know you don't have the base.

answered.

(Most 2C-X as well as MDMA tend to be HCl salts so no further ID-ing of which 2C-X you have would be hard if not impossible without maybe if you also had Marquis - which I think is almost solely based on sulfuric acid so maybe check that out if you are able)
