I reckon it's pretty fucked, cause he sold them to someone who used to be a heroin addict and should've had some tollerance.
He told him only to have one half and said exactly what was in it. The guy took a full pill anyway and I'm saddened to say he passed away from it.

I cannot see how (or why for that matter) he would (even) be taken to court! Sounds like you're mate (the dealer) done all that he basically could! The guy who bought the drugs did so as an adult (I assume!? ) who obviously/supposedly (well I guess not that obviously since he OD'd ) knew what he was getting himself into! Especially considering he was a dope addict - I would think he would (or should I guess may be a better word!) know about opies - their risks/dangers, possible contraindications/indications, blah blah blah!

If other substances or alcohol was involved I am unsure of though.
I feel very sorry for the guy who has passed away but I don't wanna see a good man go to jail for manslaughter.

I would hazard a guess that it would have been due to poly-drug use! Tbh (and this is purely anectodal) I would go so far as to say most(? I'd be up for a thread re this! Actually might start one in a sec! ) problems people encounter when taking drugs are due to poly-drug use!

Totally agreed! Especially since it was a pharmaceutical he's OD'd on (I emphasised the word "pharmaceutical" since you [more or less] know what you're getting! It's pretty strictly/tightly controlled!


Finally, hope ya mate's court case goes well! Definitely keep us updated please! (I know I am but I'm sure) We're all keen to know how it does go! ^^
