This. Lived in rural area all my life and never been seriously hurt by wildlife. Just don't give them a reason to attack you and most of the time they run/slither/hop away.

You're much more likely to be harmed by alcohol poisoning than due to animals whilst in Australia MUCH more likely haha. Or dodgy ecstasy replacements like the ones that dropped those mentioned in this thread.
