So do you? Cause I do. And if you do off of what drug? For me it's the dreaded Opiates.

I wake up with..
Watery eyes
Non stop yawnig
Knee pains.

It depends on how much I did the night before and how long I sleep.

At the extremes, fucked up nodding out I wake up fine after 12 hours of sleep (and a few more hours since last dose). Then just barely enough to not be sick the night before, 8 hours of sleep means waking up with the classic withdrawal symptoms.

It's usually somewhere in between those.

i used to wake up in my car every day in a different parking lot, with the sun beating down and the WD's kicking in. Then I'd go perform some form of retail theft while sweating and sneezing. One time my feet were hurting really bad and I realized I hadn't bathed or changed my socks since I could remember.

I'm glad that phase is behind me.

i actually get sick. like symptoms of a cold, or flu, or allergies, all combined sorta. from dope. its usually like, runny/stuffy nose, watery eyes, sneezing, coughing, heaving like im gonna puke, but i rarely do. goosebumps. that all comes on before the muscle pains and aches. those are like the first signs. i dont always wake up sick though. sometimes i actually feel fine for a few hours, sometimes i can go halfway through the day. but there are those days where its terrible from the moment i wake up. really depends how long its been since my last bags.

you said it dorkchop, I'm soo glad that phase is behind me. For the most part atleast.

I remember when I was strung out and living at my parents house, I had like an alarm clock in my head which would go off every morning around 6 or 7 and I'd wake up completely sick in withdrawals and the first thing I would notice was my entire bed, sheets, pillow, blanket, everything was completely soaked in sweat to the point where it looked and felt like someone threw a bathtub full of water onto the bed. Some of my bed sheets still have sweat stains on them, even after washing them dozens of times.

I think anyone who is addicted to opiates wakes up sick, if I sleep the whole night through I always wake up sick but usually my body is so used to the routine that I will wake up in the middle of the night one or two times to fix so I don't get sick.

Eh I don't agree. There's plenty of "mild" addicts that just need there 24 hour fix which usually means they make it through the night fine.

Sometimes, a lot of the time actually. But mostly I can just tell I'm sick in my dreams. So whatever I'm doin in my dreams I will be in W/D, so there no escaping it really.

How do you tell you are sick in your dreams? I can't even sleep when I'm sick >.<

Not since I got back on methadone, waking up sick as a dog every morning made me go back to the clinic. Now, 6bucks keeps the sickie away, but I still use and think about dope constantly

hm idk why people say amp addiction is purely mental then, because the opiate wd symptoms sound just like my usual wake-up symptoms as well

i've always had to taper with amp as well. otherwise i'd never sleep, get things like hot flashes and feel like i was about to have a seizure

it really sucks. i can't go more than a day without before i start to get rapidly changing body temp and shit

peace

Same here. Every single day I'm drenched, the mattress reeks, the sheets are wet, the comforter, I have to change my clothes. It's true, no matter how much it's all washed the color will never be the same. Also, I wake up with a headache, stomach pain, and knee pain.

I hear you, decreased energy to the max after continuously using for a little while and stopping (1-2 weeks max at slighly higher than therapeutic doses), next time I'll taper the last few day. It's for work, but I won't lie I do enjoy it and use on the weekends every now and then, but it's getting old and stale now (I'm bored of it) - I actually wanted something like Modafinil, something with no abuse temptation, which I'm struggling to get believe it or not... At least legally but the other route has complications I'd like to avoid. That would probably also help low dose amp withdrawal, or at least the fatigue and cognition part.

I imagine full time use would be really bad, like a year's or more every day use, and then stopping. It is a physical dependence similar but different to opiate use. And I got lots of rest and food during use so it wasn't because I'd only slept 2 nights over the week. Opiate w/d had far more anxiety, I used to freak the fuck out and start developing conspiracy theories when I went into opiate w/d but with amp use it's no anxiety. But yup, you wake up and want to sleep and feel terrible if you don't have something to take. The start of opiate w/d or slight w/d from tapering fast had me wanting to sleep for 32+ hours, amps same.
