Mods, I wasn’t really sure where to post this, I apologize if it’s the wrong place.
I was introduced to a service called NORS a few years ago. Basically, it’s a free service available for Canadian/American drug users, that use alone.
You can call in using a toll free number (I’ll link the site below). Someone will stay on the phone with you for as long as you need them to. I spoke to someone for like 6 hours one night.
As soon as you get someone on the phone, they set up a sort of “emergency/time line plan” with you.
The ONLY time your address would be passed along, would be if you didn’t respond after a couple minutes (or whatever time was agreed upon) and they had to call an ambulance on your behalf. All information is deleted every time you hang up.
They’re all experienced, and I’m 99% sure they’re all volunteers.
They’ve saved a lot of lives. I highly suggest giving it a try.
