Do you take your DOC during a dysphoric psychedelic episode?

No, not 2,5-dimethoxy-4-chloroamphetamine. ;)

When a trip starts to go in an unfavorable direction for me, I like to turn my Volcano vaporizer up to its highest setting and take many potent puffs of cannabis vapor to put me into a ridiculously comfortable place similar to taking that perfect bump of ketamine.

Actually, I just realized as I typed that last part, I love to take recreational doses of ketamine during a bad trip mindset as well. Talk about instant anti-depressive effects (and the visuals... 8o).

What is your drug of choice (psychedelic & dissociative, or not PD) and do you use it when the tripping gets tough?

Weed usually calms me down. Can't really imagine any other drug helping me when tripping gets tough.

Something about hitting a nice bowl of weed... not sure how to explain it.

I've used GBL (which was my DOC) during a negative trip experience before and it turned it around well, but then it started wearing off so I redosed and carped out. Didn't really attempt it again before I ran out/dumped what I had left (I had medical reason to do so, fyi).

Had I ketamine I might try to use that in such a manner...

But on to the topic, as of now my drug of choice would be ethanol, and I'll imbibe while tripping, if I feel like it. Haven't had a particularly negative trip in a while though, not since early 2011, I think.

ketamine has been particularily useful in this regard, as has 3-meo-PCE & MXE. any of the arylcyclohexylamine compounds seem to be helpful for me in times of stress and/or anxiety during a trip. please note this is usually in small amounts - medium to large doses @ the peak of an uncomfortable experience is high unadvisable, due to the possibility of only exacerbating, or complicating these ill feelings.

GBL or GHB also sounds as though it may be effective, with careful attention paid to dosage.
