Do You Like To Smoke Alone?

Some say its not cool, some say it is. Do you like to smoke alone? Any thoughts?

smoking alone is my absolute favorite way to get stoned. i used to do it every once in a great while, but since i've started smoking extremely heavily, i do it whenever i can at my house everyday when i'm not with my friends smoking.

I like to think of weed as a social drug. I will not smoke weed alone. I tried it once, and I was happy, content, and generally pleased...but it was nothing in comparison to getting stoned with friends.
My friends and I use a vaporizer, and I just don't think it would be fun to use alone. Part of the fun is watching and listening to other people, and then laughing at the ensuing silliness.

Every time we get a new piece, we name it after getting epically stoned.
Our first bubbler was named Mary J Blige.
Our first (and only so far) vaporizer was named Vladimir Putin. Great story behind that one.
Our first pipe was named The Alchemist, after it's owner, whom mixes amazing drinks.
Our first joint was called The Lopper, simply because it felt like my neck was being cut through with a knife the first time.

There are more, but those were just tao name a few examples. Whenever I think about those names, I smile and chuckle...but I wouldn't have those names if friends hadn't been around to christen them. All the moments that have put me into laughter-lock with friends...it's just not the same alone.


Getting so stoned on Sour Diesel you literally can't move...priceless.

Yeah I love smoking by myself, its better in a lot of ways to just be able to get fried on your own and kick back relaxing.

Nothing wrong without company IMO. Sometimes Cannabis can be a very social substance or very personal. Depends on what strain, and what mood you're in.

It totally depends on my mood, sometimes my favorite thing is to get really stoned with a bunch of friends and go see a movie or go hang out around town or go on a hike, but other times I just wanna relax at home. Soooo i smoke a nice indica and chill in my room with a bowl of cereal and some videogames or movies. I love em both

Yeah, I like to smoke alone sometimes. It gives the high a different feel and experience. There are just some things you want to do when your high that you can or would be socially unacceptable to do in front of others.

I have never smoked solo, yet have smoked 50+ times with friends. I am not all that willing to try it, as I think it could lead to it becoming a problem/habit. I can restrain myself easily from not smoking pot, and only tend to do it on the weekend, or special occasions

Do i enjoy it? Yes. Is it better than being with my friends? No. But there are times when I rather be alone and do my own thing. But common there's only so many things you can do alone, yet if you're with someone it really don't matter.

I love to smoke solo. I like to draw and write and play music when high, and with the exception of playing music, those are solitary pursuits. I am very comfortable being alone and while I enjoy blazing with friends, I almost prefer to do so solo because it's such a different experience: it's much more introspective and it allows me to do the things I most love in life.

I mostly smoke pot solo. My favorite time to smoke is late at night, around 2 am. Normally I dont have that many friends over then lol.

yea im the same ever sence i started ,i get way higher wen im alone seems like- and often i get less paranoid wen im alone

i dont know about way higher, but since i live in a small town where every dealer in a 30 mile radius never has a bunch of different types of weed, just one -.- and i've already got anxiety problems so when i smoke a sativa type, i'll freak the fuck out if i'm around people. like one time recently, my friend was talking and than everything started to seem really weird and the more i focused on her, the more it felt like i was getting closer to passing out, just never fully there. and in my peripheral vision it looked like the room was getting longer and shorter, over and over.
idk, i know this sounds really weird, but ever since i smoked a shitload of potent salvia thinking it was weed and got completely blown, i freak out on weed.

yeah, i agree with this as well....i'm the type of person who is shy as it is....but when i'm high, i'm extremely shy and LOVE to just get lost in thought or just daze out.
