I enjoy smoking alone but then theres no one to joke around with and laugh your ass off. My favorite is to sit out on my porch with a few of my boys and a couple girls and pass around 2 blunts. We all talk, tell jokes, and enjoy the nature outside....ripped as FUCK. gotta love it

... and yes smoked some strains that made me totally bug out around others as well. Ha not fun but they were good on the solo. So, the basic stoner answer , it depends.

most of my friends has nothing to do all day, and they are smoking together. Unfortunately I working to much, so I smoke alone at work, but after if I am not too tired I smoke with them.
If I am tired continoue to smoke alone. At home I have to smoke alone, becouse nobody smoking in the family and they dont know I am a smoker. But I dont feel that smoking is smoking alone becouse when I get stoned go back to family and we are together. I like smoking in every way! it is been like this 15 years ago and will be for an other 15 or more.

I find friends can actually ruin a great high to easily.

Like same way you drink a few beers with them it becomes more about acting a certain way that goes along with the activity.
Sometimes when I smoke I don't want to go to a buffet and eat till I wanna vomit.
Sometimes when I smoke I don't want to watch a funny pot movie.

Which is why when I smoke alone I basically exercise full discretion over what I want to do opposed to what a group of people want to do.
You cant really get high with friends then go write, or make music, I mean you can but they tend to become more of a distraction in any intellectul activity.

When I did smoke I enjoyed it in a social setting - if I did smoke...my dad grew weed all my life growing up as he had a debilitating illness and weed was the only thing that helped him...mixed along with all the pain killers he was on ..so he smoked alot by himself and I would watch him just enjoying the moment everytime he did....

There's nothing wrong with smoking by yourself...it's when you start DRINKING by yourself that you should be worried :D

I love it personally. Nothing better than putting on your favorite music (not someone else's), kicking back and burning the herb. Of course, smoking with good friends is a special experience too, but not something I'd like to do 24 hours a day.
