Misc do you guys think that its possible to get scripts for actual disorders i have?

i have actual panic attacks, insomnia, and general anxiety really bad like i couldnt get out of bed for weeks or talk to anyone and i just want something like ativan from a doctor. i also get really bad migraines that keep me awake for hours tossing and turning and can ruin entire days and i sometimes get them multiple times a week/month and theyre really bad i cant even keep my eyes closed or think straight for hours getting nausea.

would it be possible to actually get a benzo and opiate script or is that basically just impossible and the holy grail? i dont care if its a weak or low dose i prefer just doing them in moderation and using them actually for my pain and mental health. ive been microdosing benzos on my own and ive been turning around my life not realizing how bad my anxiety is and how much i was self medicating alcohol every night and weed just causing more problems and just living in a haze all the time going down a really bad path. and i just felt amazing when i cut off most of my drug usage and just using therapeutic doses and spending more time sober. its actually been helping me get off drugs even my weed smoking is down really low and im sitting around with bars of xanax and ounces of weed barely touching them not even getting urges staying sober. ive been turning around my whole life, taking care of my hygeine again, acting like myself again

im not gonn lie i have a night once in awhile i like to take a little extra but its never blacked out going crazy mixing it with alcohol. i usually just take a little bit extra to relax before bed with a little bit of weed. i actually feel the best ive felt in a long time just taking it easy on drugs and trying to actaully use them for their purpose in moderation. i specifically only want benzos or opiates for this though. could i actually tell a doctor ive tried self medicating and its working for me or would that immediately fuck me? i was given ativan at a hospital one time legally and that shit worked perfectly.

But really you don't want to go down that rabbit hole trust me. If you are prone to anxiety moderation is going to be impossible in the long run.

I would say that your chances of getting a benzo or an opioid prescribed is slim to none if you are in the US. All they do nowadays is put you on SSRI's for everything. And benzos have been replaced with antihistamines and things like Buspar.

IF you can find a Psychiatrist that is willing to work with you ....you MIGHT get a benzo but not right away anyway and they aren't going to give you an opioid, they will send you to a GP or a Specialist.

Getting benzos or opioids is very difficult nowadays. Even IF one is in pain they are only going to get maybe 7 days worth. The repeat scripts are long gone unless you have some debilitating disease that requires them daily and then people still have to fight for them.

Why do you think so many people are gobbling tablespoons full of Kratom? It's all anyone can get anymore unless they want to go to the Dark Net or RC's. Getting a legally written script for any abusable drugs is in the past. Not saying you would abuse them but Dr's just cannot be bothered anymore. SSRI's and SNRI's are the new meds for us now and the Dr's couldn't be happier. They don't have to deal with all the hassles of liability, they don't have to deal with people losing their scripts or running out early and they don't have to send out all the UA's anymore unless they are a pain management clinic. Less work for them and less hassles.

In most ER's you are going to be damn lucky to get more than 3 days of an opioid even if you break a bone. And will probably just get prescription strength Aleve or Ibuprofen. The days of the good stuff for faking a back ache are long gone.

It's certainly possible but if you go into a docs office with, "anxiety and migraines" and start asking for two heavily controlled substances you will likely just get marked as drug seeking.

I'm not trying to discount what you're going through, i've been through panic attacks and migraines, I know how hard it can get. The thing is, opiates aren't necessarily the best thing for migraines and can actually cause headaches. Benzos have very severe and possibly deadly withdrawal symptoms on top of the high potential for dependence.

Like stated, we aren't here to help people get scripts. But I don't think a reasonable doc would have an issue giving you a small handful of benzos for panic attacks.
